Facilities Safety & Security Associate

Conduct routine foot patrols of indoor and outdoor areas, including walkways, lobbies, parking lots, and shared spacesObserve public and tenant activity to ensure shared spaces are used appropriatelyProvide a calm and friendly presence to deter disruptive or unsafe behaviorBuild rapport with staff, tenants, and guests through daily positive interactionsAssist visitors with wayfinding and basic questions about the facilityRespond to minor incidents, disturbances, or facility issues by notifying the appropriate internal contactsMaintain daily activity logs and incident reportsEnsure doors, gates, and access points are secured at designated timesMonitor for safety hazards such as spills, obstructions, or lighting outages and report to Facilities ManagerSupport evacuation efforts or emergency procedures when neededStay aware of event schedules and adjust patrol focus accordinglyServe as a communication bridge between tenants and Facilities when appropriateEnsure adherence to general site guidelines, such as quiet zones or restricted access areasMaintain a clean, professional appearance while on dutyArrive on time and prepared for every scheduled shift
