Blue Note Napa is hiring drivers for selected shows at Blue Note Napa Summer Sessions concert series in Napa CA.
This role will be to drive a 15 passenger van (provided) and you must possess a current California Driver's license.
Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening tests.
The first shifts will be Friday, May 18 and Saturday, June 2 from 11am to 11pm. Additional shifts will be added as they become available.
Safety
Conduct safety inspections, follow legal and defensive driving practices, and maintain a safe discipline level among passengers
Maintenance
Perform routine preventive maintenance, report vehicle maintenance, and ensure the vehicle's cleanliness
Routing
Learn and follow designated routes, stops, and time schedules, and plan the best route to ensure timely delivery
Communication
Understand and follow oral and written directions, communicate effectively with others, and provide information to the public
Documentation
Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of passengers or goods
Records
Maintain routine records and all required passenger and vehicle records
Assistance
Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage, and answer clients' questions about the area
Other
Lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs, administer first aid, and handle customer grievances professionally
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Duties are performed while sitting for long periods of time in a motor vehicle. Duties
also require periodic standing to assist passengers. Moderate lifting, bending, and
crouching may be required to assist passengers in boarding and exiting System
vehicles. When in the field the employee may be exposed to hazards related to
adverse weather conditions or vehicular traffic. Duties may be performed outside of
normal System working hours at varying hours of the day, including weekends and
holidays.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work varying shifts, hours and days, including early mornings, late
evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
