A well established and growing California based construction company is currently seeking a Class A driver with heavy haul and flatbed experience. Prospective candidate will deliver materials and mobilize equipment to construction sites throughout California. If you are the kind of person that is self-motivated, mechanically inclined and able to operate construction type equipment then you are exactly what we are looking for. You also must take safety very seriously, both in driving on the road and working at the shop and/or job sites. You need to be able to multi-task, take directions and be willing to make changes as necessary while maintaining a flexible work schedule. Overnight(s) stays are required at times.
Job Overview: Work 5-6 days per week. Typical schedule includes early morning hours, but may vary (some overtime-as required). Delivery area covered mostly California. Some maintenance/keeping truck clean. Light maintenance such as lubrication
Requirements: Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and Alcohol testing. Valid and clean DMV record. Ability to read maps, working knowledge of city streets and freeways. Ability to speak, understand, and write English. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Knowledge of proper load securement and keeping a log book as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications: Construction industry knowledge. Spanish language experience
