Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Driver / Installer to join our delivery and installation team. This role requires more than just driving — we’re looking for a leader who can represent the company professionally onsite, coordinate with clients and the installation crew, and ensure a smooth and efficient furniture delivery and setup process.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport office furniture to client locations
Lead onsite delivery and installation team; ensure projects are completed on time and to standard
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during delivery and setup
Provide excellent customer service with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure delivery schedules and project details are accurate
Assist with loading/unloading and installation of furniture
Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues as needed
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
10+ years of experience in furniture delivery/installation or a related industry
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items (50+ lbs)
Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
Experience leading a team or supervising projects a plus
Familiarity with basic tools and installation processes
