I have a small delivery contracting company and we are contracted by an e-commerce grocery delivery company based in Oakland, CA. We are looking for Delivery Drivers with their own standard-sized Cargo Vans or Minivans (No sedans/SUVs) to deliver boxed groceries and specialty items to customers' front door.
Details:
-1099 Status (Independent Contractor)
-Pay is per-stop (fee is negotiable depending on whether you are solo or a team)
-Bi-Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit
Pros:
-You keep all your tips
-Flexible Scheduling (Mon-Sat)
-Consistent Daily/Weekly Work (we have a driver minimum to fulfill)
-Waiting Fee (Pay after 1 hr+ waiting)
-Dismissal Fee (Pay even if there's no work and you are dismissed)
-Expected Gross earnings per day is $300-$325/day working 10 hrs doing 2 routes. $150 - $170 for 1 route.
-Route Minimum: if you get a small route, you will be paid a minimum
-Ext. Distance Fee: get paid extra if you drive in SJ or Marin
Requirements:
-Standard sized Cargo Van(NO Transit Connects/Promaster City/NV200)/Minivan (no MX-7s)
-Physical Ability to squat, lift 50+ lbs consistently, walk, drive and all manner of movement related to delivery work
-Great Integrity/Attitude: Honesty, Customer Service skills needed, willingness to communicate in all situations, willingness to work hard without complaints and coach-ability. We will treat you with respect and honesty, we expect the same.
