Brewery Delivery Driver

Temescal Brewing is seeking a passionate and hard working delivery driver to join our team!

You will work in conjunction with our Distribution team and will be responsible for delivering kegs and cases of spectacular beer with a “no jerks” attitude to top bars and restaurants throughout the bay area.

The ideal candidate is dedicated and professional with excellent communication skills committed to top notch customer service. Must thrive while managing a full day of deliveries and provide seamless, friendly communication on behalf of the brewery in keeping with the company's mission and values.

Current California Driver's License and a clean driving record is required. MUST be eligible to be added to our company insurance policy. Must be 21 years of age or older.

Primary duties/responsibilities include but not limited to:

Facilitate daily delivery to assigned routes including bars, restaurants and retail accounts in the greater Bay Area

Coordinate onsite invoicing with accounts

Act as front line of communication out in the field throughout delivery route

Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pick-up operations

Cleaning and maintaining the truck, including taking the truck to designated location for clean out, re-fueling and parking

Planning daily route to insure most economical use of time and equipment; as needed

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/EQUIPMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift a full keg (180 lbs.) from the ground to the back of a delivery truck

Physical ability to stand up to 10 hours a day, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, walk, push and pull items weighing up to 180 pounds repeatedly

Requires walking, standing, and/or driving for more than 90% of the workday

Must be comfortable driving a 20 foot cargo van

Effectively and safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck (will train!)

Able to resolve complaints and problems as they arise from customers and employees

Passion for beer and the brewing industry a plus but not required

Expected Hours of Work:

WEEKENDS OFF

Monday through Friday availability preferred

Looking to fill 5 shifts per week for the first 1-2 months of training, followed by 3-4 shifts per week.

Shifts will be 5-8 hours long including a 30 minute paid lunch break.
