State Certified Journeyman Electricians & Apprentices

Licensed Electrical contractor with 20 years' experience based in San Francisco is seeking reliable, experienced and hard working STATE CERTIFIED Journeymen Electricians and Electrical Apprentices/Trainees for Residential and Commercial Electrical work. Projects will be based throughout the Bay Area. Current projects are located in San Francisco with the opportunity for Prevailing Wage work.

Qualifications:

Applicants MUST have either

i) Journeyman Card - graduated as a Journeyman Electrician from an in-state, DAS-approved apprenticeship program, or an out-of-state federally-approved apprenticeship program.

ii) Are currently registered/enrolled as Electrical Apprentices in a DAS-approved apprenticeship program,

iii) Current and active Electrician Trainee Card.

Desirable Criteria:

Blue print reading and interpretation

Job planning, layout and management of job and crew

Must be responsible and dependable.

Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license.

Access to own Tools: typical electrician hand tools, battery drill, sawzall, etc.

A graduate of an apprenticeship program means either of the following:

(1) An individual that has been issued a certificate of completion under authority of the California Apprenticeship Council for completing an apprenticeship program approved by the Chief pursuant to Section 3075 of the Labor Code; or

(2) An individual that has completed an apprenticeship program located outside California and approved for federal purposes pursuant to the apprenticeship regulations adopted by the federal Secretary of Labor.
