The Solar PV (photovoltaic) Installer is full-time, based in Novato and works primarily in Marin and Sonoma. The position involves the installation of solar electric systems on homes. You must be comfortable getting onto a roof. We offer you "Weather Pay", "Crew Clothing Allowance", Bagel Mondays, and more!
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Be Responsible & Motivated
Must be able to routinely lift 75 lbs. with technical build aptitude
Knowledge and ability to use basic hand tools, measuring devices, and power drills, portable band saws, conduit benders, etc.
Ability to work safely and confidently on roofs with ladder access (no fear of heights, familiar with safety equipment, and healthy respect for safety concerns is required).
The ability to read and understand project drawings and blueprints. We will provide training.
Maintain a clean and orderly work site and at all times represent the company well.
Self-starter with the ability to work well in a fast-paced work environment both independently and as part of a team (3-5 people)
Install solar PV system components including but not limited to installing water-positive roof flashings, solar racking, solar modules, conduit and wire, electrical switches and monitoring systems. As well as work on ground mount system, including concrete, excavation.
High School graduate or equivalent
Valid California Driver’s License with clean record that allows driving company vehicles for work
