Job Description – Signage Installer
We are a growing South San Francisco company looking for a full time Sign Installer and or Sign Fabricator to join a friendly and talented team of professionals. The candidate must be a self-starter who is also creative, highly- motivated and works well in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, be able to take detail directions and be organized.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct all installs with high degree of attention to detail, quality and customer satisfaction.
Installations and or Fabrications include:
- window graphics,
- interior lobby signs
- corporate office signs,
- dimensional letters,
- ADA braille signs,
- Posts and post signs,
- building maps and directories, etc.
SPECIALIZED QUALIFICATIONS
Past experience in a signage.
Knowledge of Roland, Mimaki Graphtec printer cutters
Knowledge of CNC Laser and Router Operations
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Flexi Sign
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Strong organizational skills, eye for detail, verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers and fractions, converting fractions to decimals and vice versa).
Ability to follow detailed written instructions, maps and read basic construction plans.
Highly detail ordinated and able to multi task and work under pressure to output high quality work.
Able to professionally use light power tools, tape measure, level, drill, etc.
Must have valid driver's licenses and clean driving record.
Ability to work in a very fast paced environment with deadlines.
Ingenuity and problem solving skills/creativity.
High school diploma or GED required.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
