Main Job Responsibilities:

Setup & Operate CNC Vertical Mill & Lathe machine on first shift 6am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday (4x10's) no modifications allowed!

Key Objectives:

>Setup and operate CNC's – Utilize knowledge of working properties and machining processes for a wide variety of materials

>Must be able to take a proactive approach to continuous improvement including productivity, quality, safety, environmental and ergonomics

>Ensure customer satisfaction with products and service at all times

>Manufacture components within the allotted time estimates provided on job travelers

Primary Responsibilities:

> MUST have experience with "both" CNC Vertical Mills & CNC Vertical Lathes

> Read engineering drawings to produce unique precision parts

> Proficient in managing the set-up and fabrication of quality parts

> Extensive experience as a machinist across various stages of manufacturing

> Skilled in the safe operation of hand and power tools

> Experience with 3 - 4 Axis and Fanuc/Okuma controls

> Accurate and precise inspection in the measurement of parts using micrometers, gauges, calipers, and depth micrometers, or other measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications. Work with very tight tolerances

>Familiarity with a range of machines

Ability to proficiently interpret blueprints and utilize optical measuring devices to ensure precision and accuracy in machining processes

Qualifications:

> possess 5-10 years of experience

> ability to lift a minimum of 35+ pounds unassisted

> work overtime when required

> candidate must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced environment with little or no assistance.

>Applicant must be able to work a full-time, 4-days per week 10-hours per shift

> Horizontal experience is a PLUS!
