Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Writer/Estimator to join our team. This position is responsible for providing accurate damage assessments, preparing detailed estimates, coordinating with insurance adjusters, and ensuring clear communication between the customer and the repair team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and document vehicle damage.
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates using CCC One (or other estimating software).
Coordinate insurance claims and negotiate approvals with adjusters.
Communicate repair needs and timelines to customers and technicians.
Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
Schedule vehicle drop-off, repair progress updates, and delivery.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and follow up post-repair.
Uphold OEM repair procedures and certification standards.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as an estimator or service writer in a collision center (2+ years preferred).
Proficient with CCC One and other estimating systems.
Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and insurance procedures.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
I-CAR certification or willingness to obtain (preferred).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
