We are a service, repair, maintenance and parts distribution Company for commercial food service kitchen equipment for restaurants, school cafeterias, hospitals, hotels, nursing homes, sports arenas and more. We are looking for a talented Refrigeration and or Appliance Service Repair Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is 100% offsite field service, and the hourly pay is between $63,000-$94,000 yearly, depending on qualifications and experience. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and be able to assist with communication and a variety of general service tasks to further the success of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate and Diagnose equipment for repair
Follow instructions and direction from internal staff
Effectively handle tools for proper repairs
Read Wiring Diagrams and test meters
Pay attention to details and possess accountability
Communicate with customers and vendors
Complete Service Work Orders in detail and submit them daily
Create Service Quotes to send to Customers
Email Customers as needed: Process Estimates and Quote Forms
Communicate with internal staff regularly, updating them with information from customers
Managing documents/records
Maintain and update inventories
REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a good knowledge of refrigeration principals and application
Knowledge of basic electrical and natural gas principals
Familiarity with basic software, office procedures and protocols
Ability to learn the basics of the business and the systems used
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Possess a valid Drivers License
High School Diploma
Valid E.P.A. License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
May be tasked with lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 25lbs up to 250 lbs.
Must be able to sit, walk/stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to bend at the knees and waist frequently and for long periods of time.
Must be able to repetitively use a telephone.
All employment is contingent on candidates providing at least two positive professional references from prior managers.
