Position Summary
Our Service / Assembly Technician, is responsible for repairing, servicing, and upgrading all areas of Big Daddy's Motor Cars LLC’s product offerings. You will work closely with the Production Team to diagnose, and repair vehicle faults, install vehicle updates and customer upgrades, perform routine service, and support Big Daddy's Motor Cars LLC events such as component testing and client interactions. This is a fast-paced and exciting role that requires a consistent level of performance and quality with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Perform vehicle maintenance services as specified.
Identify and diagnose customer concerns per manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.
Document case of failure & correction to satisfy customers' understanding.
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle systems.
Perform a thorough inspection of the customer's vehicle, reporting all required repairs and preventive maintenance.
Perform teardowns, repairs, and upgrades to vehicles.
Component assembly such as suspension, brakes, powertrain installation.
Electrical fault diagnosis and repair.
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
Road test and validate repairs, service, or upgrades.
Work in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate the ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals.
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
4+ years of professional work experience
Classic Car experience is preferred but not required.
Professional automotive, motorsport, or hi-end restoration experience is required.
Experience with engine and body control systems, data acquisition, hardware, and software tools.
Experience with Holley, Hi Tech and Edelbrock Systems.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Superb attention to quality and detail.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Must maintain a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in driving a manual transmission vehicle.
Computer skills and familiarity with Office 365.
Preferred Qualifications
University degree or technical training certificates in motorsports or automotive.
ASE certification preferred.
Prior experience in a rapid growth environment.
