General Contractor in Rohnert Park looking to hire skilled and an experienced Working Foreman or licensed General Building Contractor to manage jobs. We have a wide variety of residential projects that include interior/exterior work. We primarily focus on home remodels, rental renovations and exterior work. We need "reliable and skilled" professionals who take responsibility for their team's work on the job site.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Positions require 20+ years of carpentry experience with residential remodels and new builds.
Foreman must have ability to supervise multiple jobs to perform all phases of rough/finish carpentry, minor plumbing and travel between multiple sites and supervise small team of employees or subcontractors.
Must have the ability to comprehend architectural/structural engineering plans.
Foreman must be able to direct field personnel or subcontractors as needed to keep the job moving forward.
Foreman must be well-organized.
Foreman will pickup job materials at various local vendors.
Position must be able to work with subcontractors to meet deadlines and minimize risk.
Position must have the ability to problem-solve as remodels are not new construction and you will be faced with challenging situations to implement design requirements.
Must have a team player and positive attitude.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
General Building Contractor (B license) a plus.
Plumbing & Electrical experience is a plus.
Concrete work is a plus.
Must be able to travel between Sonoma, Napa and Marin counties. Fuel allowance provided for jobs outside of Sonoma county.
Must have a reliable and verifiable work history in the building trades.
Ability to communicate well with others (as needed).
Must have excellent customer service with clients.
Must be able to legally work in the US and provide proof.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Must be able to speak English, bilingual is a plus.
Alcohol/recreational drugs will not be tolerated on job site.
COMPENSATION:
Competitive compensation determined by experience.
5-paid sick days annually.
7 holidays (non-paid) observed annually.
