OVERVIEW:
We are a premier glass company that has been serving the San Francisco Peninsula for almost 40 years. We are known for our commercial & residential work with a focus on windows, doors, showers, mirrors, architectural glass, glass railings, wine rooms, and other glass related projects. We’re currently looking to hire a full-time experienced Residential Lead Installer, specializing in shower door installations to join our world-class team of experts.
SUMMARY:
We are seeking quality Residential Installers with a passion for their craft and a desire to be a part of projects that both they, and the client, will be proud of for many years to come. As a Residential Installer it will be your responsibility for completing quality installations and repairs on various residential job sites. This would include fabrication and installation windows, doors, mirrors, shower enclosures (framed and frameless), glass railings, etc. Carpentry skills are a plus, as well as ability to lead crews both large and small.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pride in your craftsmanship
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings to determine the most suitable method of installation.
Verify materials are installed in industry standards
Follow instructions during project assignments (written & verbal).
Fabrication/Installation of a wide variety of glazing materials for residential.
Promote and follow safety guidelines and safe working practices.
Maintain order and cleanliness of job site, company truck and equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Punctuality.
3+ years of related experience and/or training.
Must possess a valid California drivers’ license and clean driving record.
Organized, responsible, professional, possess time management skills and extremely reliable.
Solid communication skills.
Able to work independently or part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills.
High attention to detail and quality work.
Candidates must be physically capable of performing work with the ability to lift up to 100lbs.
Strong leadership skills are a plus.
