We are a busy father-son auto repair business on Green Valley Road and Ross Road just north of Graton. We work on most makes and models of cars and mostly do large maintenance jobs that can result in a mix of dirt, clumps of road debris, and grease from cars. We keep our shop spotless and need additional help each week to keep it that way. We have three work bays and an outside parking area, adjacent workshop and storage, and a customer waiting area.
We're looking for reliable, honest, communicative, and hard-working candidates to learn the process of operating, cleaning, and organizing a working trade shop. If you're interested in mechanical work, electrical work, sports or track cars, there's a lot of interesting stuff going on here to help you learn and grow. This is ideal for school students who can demonstrate a readiness to learn an adult trade, but we're too busy and overworked to spend a lot of time developing behavior and skills you don't already have. We will train, we will pay for your education and training and you will be supported to develop as a professional.
You are:
Expected to sweep, mop, collect recycling
Expected to lift and move items up to 50 pounds, we like to team lift and have carts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic tables
Required to manage a fleet of garbage cans, and different fluids (oil recycling, coolant recycling for example)
Needed to put tools away, and keep them organized and clean while learning their proper places, what they are, and how to use them
Expected to be ethical, courteous, vigorous, and move with urgency
