POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Operator is responsible for executing all processes related to the performance and completion of production activities in our food manufacturing facility. Compliance and adherence to all applicable internal and regulatory requirements for Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) and Food Safety standards, is a pre-requisite.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Run operational equipment for production lines to meet scheduled requirements and customer orders.
Ensure appropriate and timely flow of materials into and out of production area.
Follow all operational procedures as directed when handling finished goods and raw materials.
Conduct quality checks on the production lines as required by QA guidelines.
Verify accuracy of raw materials and finished product documentation and production reporting paperwork.
Uphold safety and quality standards set by the Company and industry while performing tasks.
Attend regular safety training exercises and other company meetings.
Complete shift paperwork and reports daily and accurately.
Maintain housekeeping standards in production areas to company expectations.
Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training Required
1-2 years’ production experience.
Food manufacturing experience preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Warehouse environment.
Mobility in plant/warehouse manufacturing environment.
Extensive standing.
This position works with electrical and mechanical tools within a manufacturing environment.
