Production Manager

This position manages pipe installation projects from start to completion. This includes the administrative work of scheduling, preparing crew work documentation, and securing permits. This position also sets the senior crew member priorities and conducts safety training sessions. Manager must be able to speak fluent Spanish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Administration:

Organize and direct projects from initiation to completion.

Set the project schedule for multiple projects and revise weekly.

Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and crew availability.

Inform customers of probable project start date and any changes thereto

Manage customer expectations.

Manage the process of securing and closing out permits as required.

Manage the pre-production process.

Manage the requests for and timing of sanitary district inspections.

Coordinate project change orders with sales staff.

Project Coordination:

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.

Monitor productivity, quality and crew adherence to timelines

Conduct on-site inspections of work-in-progress and completed projects

Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility for crew members.

Report and Documentation:

Distribute project timeline report to Admin staff.

Ensure that materials and tools are available and stocked for production.

Compile all documents and invoice the customer.

Skills:

Personal organization and time management skills are critical to the success of this position.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Spanish and English.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This is an exempt position with a beginning salary of $75,000.00 based on experience in Marin County

Paid Holidays – 8 days

Paid Vacation – 2 weeks after the first year

401K Plan (with 4% company match)
