ABOUT THIS JOB

Be a part of a small, dynamic team managing the planning, parts supply, production coordination and delivery of specialty vehicle manufacturing. This position will primarily be focused on interacting with customers either in-person, over the phone or via the internet. You will be conducting parts counter sales and managing the inventory for those parts sales as well as for those parts needed for the construction of specialty vehicles in our on-premises workshop.

+ Reports to and supports the General Manager

+ Strong computer operation skills - heavy use of QuickBooks and our inventory control system Fishbowl, email, etc.

+ Frequent customer interaction by phone, email and in-person for sales to the public

+ Works closely with sales, parts and production departments to plan, schedule and execute manufacture of custom-ordered vehicles

+ Responsibilities include monitoring and tracking vehicle and part supply levels, fulfilling orders, and coordinating the production schedule with General Manger and shop foreman

ABOUT YOU

You are a motivated customer service professional that works well as part of a team operating in a multi-tasking environment. Promptness is no problem for you - business hours are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM weekdays. You speak English fluently (Spanish as a second language is a great asset, but English is mandatory). You are also mechanically inclined and/or have experience with truck parts or the automotive industry.

+ Well-kept, professional appearance - this is a direct, customer-facing role

+ You must certify that you can lift a load of 50 lbs.

+ A CLEAN driver's license and driving record are mandatory, as you will be moving both unsold and customer vehicles and equipment

+ Excellent customer service and phone skills for servicing parts orders and repair inquiries

+ Team-oriented attitude

+ Multiple years experience in either retail sales, industrial supply or vehicle manufacturing or service

+ Reliable attendance and promptness

We are a growing family business that is locally owned and operated and has been a leading manufacturer's dealer for 41 years. We build and sell new and used Towing Equipment built to customer order, as well as having a large parts department that supports shop operations and counter sales.

COMPENSATION

The compensation for this position is an hourly rate of $24.00 per hour and also includes health insurance, dental insurance and life insurance benefits.
