Full Time Position with Growth Potential
Responsibilities:
Know how to replace/install electrical outlets and light switches, garbage disposals, dishwashers, light fixtures, ceiling fans, thermostats, doorbells, smoke detectors, etc
Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made
Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed
Must possess the ability to efficiently paint an entire apartment unit independently to completion while providing a high level of quality, this will include preparing walls for paint, filling any/all holes and cracks with proper materials, applying/matching texture where necessary, properly applying caulking where necessary. Candidate must be conscientious enough to properly use drop cloths/plastic/tape where needed so as not to make a mess.
Reliable transportation is a must!
Qualifications:
Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
Experience in similar roles, such as residential property maintenance employee, hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or construction will highly be considered.
Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
Flexible availability for rotational on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
