We are a small general contractor company specializing in both commercial and residential interiors. Currently we are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking journeyman painter to join our team! Must have great communication skills and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
Major Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Journeyman Carpenter, Superintendent, or Foreman the painter position is responsible for assisting in the completion of tasks as directed. This role is an hourly wage role only that includes medical,dental,401k and a stipend for cell phone use after 90 days of unemployment is completed. Role is also required to clock in and out of work everyday via Tsheets.
1. Drywall patching
2. Prepping and priming walls
3. Proper site protection
4. Loading, unloading, and moving materials from within or near the construction site
5. Purchase materials and supplies
6. Move materials to or from storage or work sites
7. Carry heavy supplies to and from work area
9. Cleaning work area, machines, or other equipment
Requirements
1. Candidate must be legal to work in the US and fluent in English
2. Candidate must own a set of hand tools
3. Candidates must have a clean driving record and VALID California Driver's License
4. Although not required San Francisco residents are preferred due to all of the job sites being located in San Francisco
5. Candidate must have the ability to work with others, be a team player and be communicative with co-workers and supervisors
6. Willingness to learn new skill (some carpentry experience a plus)
7. Dependability and punctuality are crucial for showing up on time and completing assigned tasks efficiently.
