Looking for a Reliable Mechanic, Fremont Area

We are a general repair shop in Fremont looking for a reliable mechanic. Our mechanic is retiring after 25 years on the job here. We are a small, family owned, reliable and trusted shop. We have been in business at the same location for 44 years. We have 3 bays with 2 lifts and we also do Star Certified Smog Checks. If you are also Smog Check certified that is a plus but not necessary, we already have a Smog Inspector. We are looking for someone reliable. This is a job where there is only 1 mechanic working, so sick days and random days off are not possible. We do general repair, no heavy jobs, no tires. Primarily oil changes, tire rotations, all fluid changes, spark plugs, engine light diagnostics, timing belts, brake jobs etc. Most jobs are done same day. Duties will include not only mechanic shop work but also keeping the shop clean during slow days/hours. We are open Monday through Friday 9am-6pm, lunch from 1-2pm.
