Lead Estimator / Senior Project Manager – Marin County

At Fresh Coat Painters of Marin, we are a growing, full-service painting contractor based in beautiful Marin County, seeking an experienced Senior Project Director / Lead Estimator to lead high-value projects from concept to completion. This role is perfect for seasoned professionals in property management, construction, or home improvement who are ready to step into a leadership position with greater responsibility, influence, and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Build strong relationships with homeowners, securing contracts for residential and commercial painting projects.

Prepare detailed, accurate estimates and project proposals using our proprietary software in a timely fashion (Estimates sent to owner same day)

Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle by being the primary contact for Clients, General Contractors, Realtors —from planning and trade coordination to project kickoffs, to quality assurance throughout the project, and final walkthroughs.

Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope.

Ensure safety compliance, exceptional workmanship, and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in painting, construction, or related fields, with a track record of successful project delivery.

Strong estimating skills and familiarity with painting industry materials, techniques, and cost structures.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities.

Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide a team.

Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Must be fluent in English. Spanish is preferred as well.

Must have valid CA Driver's License and is willing to drive in Bay Area
