Title: Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Maintenance Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 2 or more employees, ensuring quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity standards are met. Working as part of the team, you will mow, trim, edge, weed eat, plant, fertilize, apply herbicides, and perform other landscape maintenance duties to make properties look their best.
In this position, you will provide hands on training and leadership, proactively look for deficiencies in the landscape and make suggestions, professionally communicate with clients on job sites, and be able to handle the physicality of our work: heavy lifting, extensive walking, weather conditions, etc.
This is challenging, physical work that provides great reward to individuals who like seeing the direct result of their efforts.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years commercial landscape experience required
-Professional appearance and demeanor
-Experience using commercial mowers and gas powered equipment
-Positive, motivated, reliable and punctual
-Possess plant ID and pruning knowledge
-Leadership experience
-A valid driver's license with clean DMV record
-Good oral and written communication skills
-Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
-Experience with customer service
-Basic computer skills
Responsibilities:
-Performing landscape maintenance of large commercial job sites
-Driving a company vehicle, with trailer
-Supervising 2 or more Crew Members
-Communicating with clients
Compensation: $24 to $32 depending on experience
