As Garton Tractor continues to expand its customer and dealership base, the Fairfield location is looking for skilled journeyman service technicians. This is an "in shop" position working in a large well equipped shop. An ideal candidates would have 10 plus years of experience in repairs of Agricultural and Construction equipment. We are not expecting brand specific experience involving New Holland, Hitachi, and Takeuchi products since much of the repairs are very similar.
Factory training is a huge part of the success of our service departments for Garton Tractor. This is done at the branch level, on-line and in person, off-site training sites across the United States.
Customer service and employee interaction is required as we work with a close community of hard-working people.
Journeyman wages at Garton Tractor range between 35-60 per hour depending on experience and location.
