Benjamin Electric is a growing electrical company looking for a Journeyman Electrician to add to our team! Our company does mostly residential and commercial construction in Santa Cruz County, however, we do travel to Monterey and Santa Clara Counties. A Journeyman electrician will be responsible for all duties associated with the installation, troubleshooting and repair of residential/commercial electrical.

- Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week

- Pay: $45-$60/hour

- 8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday- Friday

- Occasional weekend work opportunities

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years experience as a working electrician

- Ability to read blueprints

- Professionalism

- CA drivers license

- Clean background check

- Positive attitude

- Clear and efficient communication skills

- Reliable/functioning cell phone

- Good references

- Journeyman Certification (preferred)

- Education: High school or equivalent

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate organized and thought out project management

- Complete electrical construction work in conjunction with delegating appropriate work to apprentices

- Efficiently lead apprentices on job sites while supporting their learning and growth

- Ability to apply and use the NEC code book

- Lead inspections with county and city inspectors

- Accurately and efficiently track and detail hours and parts used to office staff

- Ability to effectively communicate with general contractors and homeowners

- Must be good at time management and able to meet job deadlines reasonably
