This is a Part Time Assistant Gardener position with a niche, well established, high end maintenance gardening firm, providing service to home owners in San Francisco.
Currently hiring for a Wednesday and Thursday shift, 9am to 5pm both days.
Hiring for long or short term employment with opportunities to advance.
At least two years of professional Gardening, Or horticulture education And manual labor experience is required. Be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of common plants - ornamentals and weeds, as well as pests, diseases, hand tool use, and mindful body mechanics.

You’ll need a reliable means of getting yourself to and from job sites throughout the city. We will provide all tools and materials. Mileage/travel costs are reimbursed.
You’ll need to be able to work outdoors standing, kneeling, stooping, and bending for extended periods of time. We work in a variety of conditions including hillsides, wind, hot sun, and light rain. Other physical requirements include reaching above your head for extended periods, and occasionally carrying up to 50 lbs.
Core abilities should include; being reliable and on time, being able to switch between tasks and modes (detail oriented to more heavy labor intensive), excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
