O.R. Builders is a long-established Framing Company who is looking for a well-qualified construction foreman for high-end custom residential homes. The ideal candidate shall possess the following qualifications:
Qualifications:
Previous Custom Residential Framing Construction experience is a Must!
Ability to delegate tasks to construction workers in a professional manner
Ability to create and monitor schedules for workers
Ability to ensure accuracy of work orders / change orders
Ability to make sure job sites are cleared of any hazardous materials prior to the beginning of a construction project
Ability to ensure that all materials and tools are available to the crew
Ability to conduct Field Layouts
Ability to handle onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner
Ability to conduct and ensure proper storage of construction equipment and tools
Ability to read, and interpret documents such as drawings, procedure manuals, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or co-workers
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, properly fill out field Time and Material Sheets, and to verbally present information to customers, co-workers, suppliers, and the general public
Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and suppliers
Strong written, communication and computer skills are required
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the construction trade industry required and/or recently graduated
Highly organized
Team player, excellent attitude and pleasant personality is required
Computer and Office Skills:
Ability to operate computer software, to include MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Web Browser and other company devices such as: iPhone + iPads
Language Skills:
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a Plus +
