MCB Remodeling LLC is seeking an experienced finish carpenter to join our dynamic remodeling team. Job Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, demonstrating knowledge of material forms, grades, and applications.

Achieve project objectives, ensuring quality and cleanliness on the job site.

Measure, mark, and cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.

Assemble and fasten materials to create frameworks, cabinets, doors, floors, and other fixtures using woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools.

Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring, trim, or hardware using carpenter's hand and power tools

Remove and replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools.

Select and order lumber and materials, maintaining receipts and providing them to the Business Manager weekly.

Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings using paint, hand tools, and paneling.

Construct forms for pouring concrete.

Cover sub-floors with building paper to prevent moisture and lay hardwood, parquet, and wood-strip-block floors.

Fill cracks and defects in plaster or plasterboard, sanding patches using patching plaster, trowel, and sanding tools.

Plan job material requirements effectively, ordering or scheduling pick-ups for optimal use of time and resources.

Demonstrate good job organization, ensuring work is started and completed on schedule. Communicate with the project manager if additional time or work is required.

Be prepared and ready to work at job sites at the scheduled time.

Complete timecards in real time with accurate and complete information.

Perform minor plumbing, welding, and/or concrete mixing work as needed.

Apply shock-absorbing, sound-deadening, and decorative paneling to ceilings and walls.

Promote the highest level of professionalism and ethics.

Meet agreed-upon performance standards.
