Shada Build & Design, Inc. specializes in the design and fabrication of custom cabinetry and fine furniture. We build anything from tables and chairs to full home design and remodels. Our primary work is custom wood cabinetry and furniture that is designed, engineered, and built in-house.
Our company is based in beautiful Jack London Square, Oakland! Very close to the Bay Bridge, 580, 80, 880, etc. and about 4 blocks from Lake Merritt Bart station (as well as Amtrak). We are a tight knit crew of 12 employees that provides a casual and friendly work environment.
What we’re looking for:
We have the highest standards for the cabinetry we produce and need someone who has experience with frameless cabinetry and 32mm systems/hardware, as well as traditional woodworking methods.
Qualified candidates will:
Have at least 5 years of experience
Be familiar with the safe operation of professional woodworking machinery
Understand high end cabinetry construction and quality control
Have an eye for detail and dedication to accuracy
Be able to build from shop drawings
Be committed to learning and developing as a craftsperson
Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
