PAY: $35-$46/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: 7:00 am- 5:30 pm
SCHEDULE: Working 50 hours a week
START DATE: ASAP
Duration: 1+ year project
Industrial Electrician Job Description:
We are looking for an electrician capable of bending and running conduits, pulling wires, and installing light fixtures. Must be able to wire panels, terminate, and troubleshoot.
Qualifications for Industrial Electrician:
2+ years of electrical experience in an industrial setting.
Experience with electrical commissioning plans for a variety of equipment across the site, such as motors, breakers, relays, generators, substations, buses, starters, transformers, HRG, and other industrial equipment and 480.
Experience with conformance of all electrical systems pre-commissioning in close collaboration with Project and Engineering Teams
Develop LOTO documentation and switching sequence orders/procedures
Troubleshooting motors/VFD's and complex electrical circuits such as switchgear controls
Populate Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) with BoMs and spare parts as directed
Execute preventative maintenance procedures and work practices on equipment such as VFD's/switchgear/motors with voltages ranging from 120-480V and 4160-35kV to ensure the reliability of plant assets post-startup
Provide break-in electrical support as needed to resolve electrical equipment issues
Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must have PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses.
Must have valid California journeyman or apprentice license/card.
Must have OSHA10 certification.
Must have standard electrical hand tools.
Additional Requirements for Industrial Electricians:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
