We are seeking a skilled Custom Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of cabinetry and millwork. Proficient with hand tools, power tools and reading/understanding shop drawings/blueprints.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints for cabinet design, Cabnetware and Cabinet Vision.
Process wood parts for assembly by measuring, cutting, sanding and shaping according to specifications.
Utilize hand tools for the assembly of cabinets and fixtures.
Install components in wood cabinets according to instructions.
Install hardware on cabinets as instructed.
Collaborate with team members for successful quality completion of projects.
Ensure quality craftsmanship in all cabinet making tasks.
Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5-10 years of cabinetry and woodworking experience required.
Proficiency in all phases of cabinetry and millwork.
Proficient with power tools (ie: table saws, drill press, etc.), setup and maintenance.
Knowledge of safety protocols.
Provide references of work experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand all day.
Ability to infrequently lift up to 80 pounds, bend, twist, squat, kneel and lift (both lateral and overhead)
Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced
Effectively provide and receive communication
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 6:30a-3:30p. Benefits include vacation, sick and holiday pay. Position is available immediately. Pay is based upon experience.
