I am a well established Contractor doing most of my work in Petaluma. We are currently gearing up for a nice job building a modern home in town and have others on the horizon. I am looking for someone to join us for the first upcoming project, and potentially in the long term if things go well. You will be working on a variety of projects, from foundation to finish work.
The minimum requirements are simple and basic:
1. You have all the tools necessary to do the work that you state you have the experience to do. You have hands on experience building and remodeling homes and understand basic layout and assembly of the different components of a house(your "carpentry" experience is more than assembling Ikea furniture) You probably have a truck. Please don't overstate your experience, as there is nowhere to hide once you get on the job and are asked to do the things you say you can do.
2. You value peoples time, both yours and others, and you can get to work on time, with what is necessary to do the job. You are organized and present yourself as a professional, and the way you carry yourself will tell others that.
3. You have your act together and are looking to create a career for yourself. If you are eager to learn we can teach you many different skills. You can take responsibility for your work and you understand that earning more money equals more responsibility.
Pay is competitive and if you show yourself to be valuable you will get regular raises.
