Job Description: As an Automotive Repair Shop Porter/ Helper at Costa Auto Care and Tire, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our repair shop. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet and assist customers when they arrive at the shop, providing them with a positive and friendly experience.
Vehicle Movement: Safely move customer vehicles within the shop and to designated areas, ensuring they are parked securely and free from damage.
Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including sweeping, mopping, and basic maintenance tasks.
Parts and Supplies: Assist in keeping track of parts and supplies inventory, as well as helping with restocking and organization.
Assisting Technicians: Provide support to automotive technicians as needed, which may include handing them tools, assisting with equipment setup, and other tasks.
Errands: Run errands as required, such as picking up parts or delivering customer vehicles.
Requirements:
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Basic knowledge of automotive tools and equipment is a plus.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
