We are seeking an Apprentice Level Carpenter that shares our passion for excellent work and the desire to build and control all aspects of a custom home from formwork to finish.
Position Overview:
The Apprentice Carpenter takes direction from Lead Carpenters and the Superintendent and performs tasks as directed. This includes a variety of work, from clean-up and material handling to some limited work with hand and power tools.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Safety
a. The Apprentice Carpenter is responsible for knowing and following all Company Safety Policies and any Site Specific Safety Protocols.
2. Quality
a. The Apprentice Carpenter shall aid in the maintenance of a clean and orderly jobsite.
b. The Apprentice Carpenter shall perform limited carpentry work including protection, formwork, framing, window and door hanging, cabinetry install, finish trim under the supervision of Journey Level and Lead Carpenters, and shall perform all work to the highest possible standard of fit and finish.
3. Development
a. The Apprentice Carpenter shall complete assigned readings, and participate in company skill building sessions on a monthly basis.
4. Communication
a. The Apprentice Carpenter shall verbally report any job related concerns, questions, or feedback to the Site Superintendent.
