Inkling Systems, Inc. in San Francisco, CA seeks Senior Software Engineer.
Responsibilities: The Senior Software Engineer will lead the design and development of complex software solutions, making architectural decisions that drive the direction of projects. In addition, the Senior Software Engineer is responsible for contributing to all areas of the full lifecycle of large-scale mobile applications development, including architecture, design, development, testing, and releasing to users. Specific responsibilities for the Senior Software Engineer include: collaborating with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals; staying up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and recommending their adoption to maintain the company’s technical excellence and competitiveness; mentoring and guiding junior engineers, facilitating knowledge transfer and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement; and other duties as assigned. Salary range: Salary Range: $147,368 - $181,272. Standard company benefits. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to Inkling headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience using third-party libraries, application programming interfaces, and software development kits; 2 years of experience designing, developing, and testing mobile applications; 2 years of experience using Android architecture components; and 2 years of experience using Kotlin or Java programming languages.
