We are a boutique (family owned), successful 75+ year commercial real estate firm based in San Francisco looking to hire a Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. This role will be in charge of our brand new real estate Tech Division. This is an onsite position located at our headquarters in the Financial District.
Expectations of Applicants
Solid experience in full stack development, including but not limited to proficiency in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (Python, Ruby, Node.js) technologies.
Proficient in database management (SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and web server technologies (Apache, Nginx).
Familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries (such as React, Angular, Vue.js) and version control systems (Git, SVN).
Ideally familiarity in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in (sometimes) a fast-paced, agile environment.
Ability to explain projects clearly, in laymen terms to members of the public and potential investors in a boardroom or
Zoom session.
Focused, Good at Time Management, and be able to set realistic timelines and deliver on time.

You should be able to effectively communicate complex projects to both the public and potential investors.
The accepted applicant will initially be responsible for building a brand new, first class real estate website as well as work on other “prop tech” related website applications. You will be the “quarterback” in charge of Special Projects, and it is our hope that this role will grow into a more senior position with time. In addition to our own projects you will be encouraged to “pitch” new one’s that you believe are relevant to the commercial estate industry and helpful to our company.
Some of our initial projects to work on include:
1. Build a brand new Commercial Real Estate Website
2. Building/helping with a marketplace style website.
3. Automated Web Applications, sourcing data from 3rd party websites, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
4. Pitching your ideas for new projects that will benefit the commercial real estate industry
5. Not required, but preferred: Obtaining a California Real Estate License.
