Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart in San Francisco, CA seeks Financial Systems Director (Multiple Openings).
Responsibilities: Operate, maintain, and improve the long-term, strategic vision of the Finance IT ecosystem. Duties include: leading the development and optimization of multiple financial systems, including Oracle Fusion, Workiva, Adaptive, Coupa, and related technologies; delivering technical solutions and enhancements to support recurring finance and accounting processes, including building a compliant control environment and tools for timely reporting; maintaining and improving compliance for SOX and ongoing maintenance of ITGC and BP controls for relevant systems; analyzing technical infrastructures and impact on downstream financial systems and operations and recommending solutions for tooling, system integrations, data management, and other aspects of system development; designing and maintaining consistent operating models for requirements gathering, testing of enterprise initiatives, and integration of system changes and enhancements; establishing key metrics for financial systems to measure velocity and optimize effectiveness of resources; collaborating with other technical leads across the organization to determine system selections, integrations, and synergies across technologies; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental United States but will report directly to Instacart headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 4 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience working with Oracle Fusion; 2 years of experience working with ERP systems and integrated technology; 2 years of experience implementing and maintaining SOX compliant controls and managing audit requests in a technical environment; 2 years of experience designing and developing strategic solutions in a financial technology ecosystem; and 2 years of experience managing cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of new products.
