Are you interested in learning a new trade that can reward sufficient Bay Area wages within your first year? A career in Roofing Sales is your path! GAF is hosting an absolutely FREE 1 week Roofing Academy in San Jose, CA. This training will cover the residential roofing system focusing on Sales of the composition shingle application. This is the most common roof system for residential homes.
If you are interested in joining the roofing industry this is your chance. Roofing is essential. The economy does not dictate whether or not you can repair, or replace your roof. The average residential roof can cost in excess of 20,000 dollars. Roofing salespeople can profit on at least 5% of those costs per job. Unlike sales of luxury items Roofs are a necessity to protect the structure of a home. The Roofing Academy will teach you the fundamentals of the Roofing System. This education will be key to becoming a successful Roofing Salesperson. The skills you take from this training are an ideal platform to propel you for a career in the Roofing Industry, for particularly in the Sales field.
All tools, and materials for this training are provided. There will be a light breakfast, and lunch ordered out as well. All beverages will be provided. You only need to come with a willingness to learn a new trade. The training is roughly 50% classroom, and 50% hands on. We will be installing the Residential Roof System on Mock-ups built on the ground the first two days followed by an Introduction into Roofing Sales the final two days.
Upon completion of the training you will receive a GAF Roofing Academy Certificate of Achievement. If YOU find employment in the Roofing Industry GAF will supplement a stipend check $300.00 as well upon proof of employment.
