Fortrend Engineering is seeking an Inside sale associate to join our sales Team.

Fortrend manufactures and integrates Automation Equipment for the Semi-conductor and PV industries including but not limited to Wafer and Mask/Reticle handling robots, shipping boxes, SMIF pod and FOUP openers, Mask/Reticle transfer systems, EFEM’s, Thermal Curing Chambers, and associated products. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong sales technical background with some experience in robotics, automation in Semi-conductor applications

Job Overview

As an Inside Sales Associate, you will be primary point of contact for many of Fortrend’s customer procurement and decision makers. Your responsibilities will be focused on providing an exceptional customer experience through effective communication, issue resolution, technical expertise, product gap analysis, meeting sales targets, and account growth. You will be accountable with the objective of meeting the customer’s needs and expectations, in accordance with required safety regulations, quality standards, export and other compliance standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Supports Sales Team to help move things along for customers when the Sales Manager in unavailable.

Responds to all emails and phone inquiries in a timely manner.

Works with the sales team to solicit customers for new purchase orders, quotation follow-up and growing overall company revenue.

Primary contact window for all customer related issues (purchase order, change order, expedite, push out/cancellations, FA, RMA, credit/debit memo, stock rotation, ship debit, etc.)

Primary contact window for all customers’ inquiries (price quotation, L/T, stock check, product information, sample request)

Processes all the order (manual/EDI), RMA, credit/debit, stock rotation & ship & debit entries

Inside Sales Support across different divisions as a liaison between Sales, Finance, Quality, Marketing, & Shipping.

Manage order entry, lot starts, customer communication, and workflow with Operations to maximize revenue

Develop and maintain close working relationships with regular customers to promote long term sales growth

Tradeshow attendance and support

Account Management

Ability to self-manage and prioritize work for specific customers

Ability to forecast and communicate account details to sales leadership

Collaborate closely with supporting departments, including procurement, engineering, operations and finance

Achieve growth and other metrics set by sales leadership

Market Analysis

Share voice of customer (VOC) feedback on pricing, market trends and other feedback to sales leadership to support strategy and grow sales.

Generate proposals, including cost analysis and pricing proposals for customers.

Understand industry trends and provide recommendations to leadership to support growth strategy for new and existing products.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 1 year of related experience managing customers and/or client accounts required OR

Minimum Associate’s Degree with minimum 3 years of related experience managing customers and/or client accounts required OR

Minimum High School Diploma or GED with minimum 5 years of related experience managing customers and/or client accounts required.

Minimum 2 years of experience working in power point. excel and word with moderate to advanced proficiency.

Strong proficiency in math, writing, spelling, and vocabulary.

Ability to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing setting.

Experience with Expandable.

Experience with Unipoint.

Experience with shipping goods.

Direct inside or outside sales experience.

Technical Background in materials or engineering or Semiconductor Automation equipment

Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements

Must meet ITAR citizenship requirements

Work is primarily performed in a temperature-controlled, open cubicle setting. Frequent interruptions and conversational noise can be expected.
