The Neighbor’s Kid Auto Repair is expanding to Healdsburg with a brand-new, state-of-the-art shop focused on service, fluid changes, and dealer-level inspections for newer vehicles. We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Writer to lead front-line operations, ensuring a seamless, professional experience for every client.

### Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Early Fridays!)
- Compensation: Up to $40/hour, based on experience and performance
- Location: Brand-new facility in Healdsburg, CA

### What You’ll Do
Drive Revenue & Customer Growth:
- Upsell recommended services based on inspections and maintenance schedules
- Cross-sell products and complementary services to maximize every customer visit
- Proactively follow up with customers regarding service reminders, upcoming maintenance, and previously declined work
- Manage and respond to inbound calls and online leads, converting inquiries into appointments
- Track and follow up on declined services to capture missed revenue opportunities
Build and Maintain Strong Customer Relationships:
- Foster trust and rapport with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Implement customer retention strategies, including loyalty programs and referral incentives
- Engage with customers to request positive online reviews, enhancing shop visibility
- Handle customer concerns professionally, turning potential issues into opportunities for retention
Optimize Shop Productivity and Operations:
- Schedule appointments efficiently to maximize shop capacity and technician productivity
- Generate accurate service estimates, ensuring transparency and customer confidence
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure clear communication of diagnostics and repairs
- Manage service contracts and warranties, helping customers understand their coverage
Data-Driven Sales and Performance Management:
- Update and maintain CRM systems to personalize service recommendations and track customer history
- Monitor key performance metrics to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Assist in developing service menus and pricing strategies that are competitive and profitable
- Participate in local networking opportunities to build fleet accounts and community relationships

- An experienced Service Writer/Advisor with a proven track record in customer service, sales, and automotive operations
- A strong communicator capable of explaining technical information clearly and professionally
