Overall Scope-
The Member Services/Security role is a dynamic position combining customer service, priming sales and security responsibilities. The primary duties include monitoring the facility's entrance, checking in customers, and ensuring a welcoming and secure environment.
Daily Job Duties & Responsibilities
Greeting and Customer Assistance:
Warmly greet all customers and visitors upon arrival.
Provide information and assistance to customers regarding store products, services, and policies.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
Security Monitoring:
Monitor the entrance of the facility to ensure only authorized individuals enter.
Check in customers and verify identification as per company policy.
Conduct regular security checks and patrols to maintain a safe environment.
Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to management.
Customer Check-In:
Verify customer information and ensure compliance with entry requirements.
Maintain accurate records of all customer check-ins.
Assist customers with the check-in process, providing guidance as needed.
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.
Assist in evacuations or other emergency procedures as required.
Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders if necessary.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other team members to ensure cohesive and efficient operation.
Communicate any security or customer service issues to the appropriate personnel.
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.

Job Requirements:
❖ California Guard Card Certification
❖ At least 2 years of experience in a sales or Cannabis retail environment and/or Security Guard experience
❖ Desired: Knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends

As a Member Services/Security Associate, you will spend long hours sitting and standing while talking to customers and walking to perform routine security checks.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
