COMPANY: Accurus Biosciences is a contract research service provider specializing in therapeutic antibody and protein drug discovery. We offer a wide range of services in antibody drug discovery and early-stage development. Our services include therapeutic antibody discovery, recombinant protein production, antibody and protein engineering, cell line development, cell-based functional assay development, and drug candidate screening. We are currently seeking a highly motivated scientific mind to join our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Research Associate to perform key tasks that are vital to our research services. The primary focus of this role involves molecular and cellular biology techniques, including DNA cloning, plasmid DNA preparation, site-directed mutagenesis, mammalian cell culture, cell transfection, stable cell line generation, FACS analysis, cell-based assays, and general lab maintenance.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field, with 0-3 years of relevant post-graduate research experience.
Proficiency in molecular and cellular biology techniques, including DNA cloning and mammalian cell culture, is essential. Experience with antibody binding assays such as ELISA and FACS is highly desirable.
Ability to independently design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and maintain detailed experimental records.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn new techniques and tackle new challenges.
Strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
