AK Scientific is a small and well-established R&D chemical reagents supplier in the San Francisco Bay Area serving pharmaceutical/biotech, CRO, novel technologies/materials, and academic organizations worldwide. The company provides a comprehensive range of bioactive small molecules, analytical references, reagents, building blocks, advanced intermediates, and bio & specialty chemicals. As a stable and growing specialty business, our goals are to support customers to develop new medicines, vaccines, novel materials, and related scientific research to benefit all human beings, and to help our employees progress personally and professionally. We are currently looking for an associate level products specialist for daily operation.
Our business hours are from 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, no overtime. The initial starting salary is very competitive, which also could be increased quickly based on performance, will be discussed with applicants on site interview.
The initial training and job duty will be in one of the following areas and will be advanced as you become familiar with our operations. For professional growth, you are expected to be an expert, understanding our products in and out from both operation and business points.
1. Process and organize orders/products
2. Help with receiving/QA operations
3. Help FedEx/UPS/DHL shipping after training
4. Support daily operations by working with others
5. Organize and stage daily order process cycle smoothly and efficiently
Requirements:
1. Educational background in science related fields with a BS degree preferred
2. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office
3. Reliable, organized, and attentive to details
4. Solid English communication skills
5. No experience in this field required (extensive training will be provided in the process), however, any past work experience is highly recommended
