immediate opening for a Part Time Warehouse Processor located in
Santa Rosa, CA.
Copperfield's just celebrated its 42st anniversary and is one of the premier
independent bookstores in the country.

SUMMARY
Processes books and sideline products through the centralized warehouse and delivers them to our various stores. This position reports to warehouse management and helps with tasks as assigned to them. This position requires a great deal of time management and a self -driven attitude. This is a full-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Box-Run
Loads and unloads Box-run truck in a timely manner.
Makes time management a priority
Makes weekly deliveries to Copperfield’s stores as assigned by management
Communicates with store employees about special deliveries or pick-ups
Works with book fair manager to complete deliveries for book fairs
Reports any problems to manager immediately.
Warehouse Processor
Upload, clean, price, and sticker books and sideline products.
Complete receiving and return batches in inventory tracking system.
File appropriate paperwork as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean work area
Receives shipments into warehouse
Records shipment delivery dates
Unloads boxes and from pallets
Checks for accuracy shipment against invoices and POs
Labels products with barcode and price labels
Conducts inventory cycle counts as directed
Uses pick-list to pull products from tables by title or SKU for shipment to store
Use pick-list to pull restocks from shelves
Box and prepare stock for shipment to stores
Shelve books or sidelines by title or vendor
Periodically inventories products
Cleans area around processing tables
Completes inventory returns
Completes tasks assigned by warehouse management

Current and Valid Drivers License
Acceptable driving record.

Good communications skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Good command of the English Language
