We’re looking for a full-time Retail Associate to join our team and help bring our store to life every day!
Position Overview:
As a Retail Associate at Protocol SF, you will be the face of our store, offering exceptional customer service while managing day-to-day store operations. You will assist customers with finding their perfect vintage pieces, maintain the aesthetic of the store, and help with various tasks, including stocking, inventory management, and merchandising.
No experience in fashion or clothing required! We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Whether you're a seasoned retail pro or new to the industry, we’re excited to provide you with the training and support needed to succeed in a fun, fast-paced environment. Plus, there are many opportunities for extra hours and additional responsibilities!
This is a full-time position with ample opportunities for extra work. Employees may be asked to travel to different locations within San Francisco as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage customers in a friendly, approachable manner, offering styling advice and assisting with selections.
Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring that products are displayed in an aesthetically pleasing and accessible way.
Process sales transactions using our POS system, handling cash and credit payments accurately.
Restock and organize inventory, ensuring products are well-maintained and displayed according to store guidelines.
Assist with receiving and processing new merchandise, including pricing and tagging.
Participate in regular inventory checks and help manage stock levels.
Promote sales and special promotions to customers.
Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and engaging shopping environment.
Assist with visual merchandising and store displays to highlight new and featured items.
Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Flexible availability, including weekends and some evenings.
Travel: You may need to travel to different Protocol SF locations around San Francisco. Reliable transportation is required.
Ideal Candidate:
Passion for working with people and creating a positive, memorable shopping experience.
Knowledge of clothing or fashion is not required – we are happy to train!
Strong communication skills and an ability to connect with a variety of customers.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Energetic, positive, and approachable demeanor with a love for connecting with people.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Reliable and flexible, especially with weekend and evening availability.
Transportation: Employees may be required to travel between locations within San Francisco. Reliable transportation is a must.
