About Us:
Our store was first opened in 1970. Shaw Shoes still stands in the same location on Union Street, in the Cow Hollow district of San Francisco. We are a family owned and operated store. On a weekly basis, women come into the store and share their memories of shopping at Shaw Shoes in the 1970s and 1980s. They talk about having dinner across the street when it was Prego and dancing at the 2001 disco, in the same building. Most importantly, these customers can nearly always describe the first pair of shoes they purchased and they are always happy to see Shaw Shoes is still here, helping keep Union Street the lively street it has always been.
Shaw Shoes is known to carry some of the most unique footwear in the country. Our customers come here to get something that no one else has and something that makes them feel special. This is why our customers carry these shopping memories with them for so many years.
Our merchandise is unique for many reasons. First and foremost, each item is hand selected. We travel to Milan, the fashion capital of the world, twice a year seeking out the latest fashion trends. We hand select each style, color, and size. Most of our shoes are both designed and hand-constructed in Italy using the finest Italian leathers. Months later, once these shoes are produced, we personally import our merchandise directly from Italy. This curated process separates Shaw Shoes from most other retailers.
About You:
We are looking for an energetic sales person who loves fashion. We want someone who is personable, reliable and trustworthy. This person wants to keep up with the latest fashion trends and eager to sell.
The Position:
We are looking for someone who can work 4-5 days a week. You need to be able to work Fridays and Saturdays. Our store hours are 11:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Saturday. Compensation is based on experience plus commission.
