Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Postal Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a range of postal and shipping services, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring smooth daily operations at our Postal Annex location. This is a part time job at first but can quickly transition to full time. Saturday’s may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, addressing inquiries, and processing transactions accurately.
Manage shipping and mailing services, including packaging, labeling, and sending packages.
Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with accuracy and integrity.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Resolve customer issues and concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the effective operation of the store.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and electronic transactions.
Familiarity with postal and shipping procedures is advantageous but not required.
Licensed Notary highly recommended to apply
