Our Mill Valley store is seeking a Full Time Wellness Manager to help lead our dynamic Wellness team. This position manages four sub-departments: supplements, body care, bulk herbs and housewares, as well as department staff and buyers.
We are seeking a person with at least 1 year of leadership experience. This position requires someone someone with a commitment to health and whole foods, a strong knowledge of supplements, natural body care, and herbs, as well as a leadership style that is based on team building, teaching, supporting, and role-modeling. Also required is the ability to manage the finances of the department, including understanding pricing and margins, participating in buying, overseeing buyers, and maintaining accurate inventories.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities partially include:
Lead a team in performance, customer service, and product knowledge Train, inspire and hold accountable department staff in fulfilling our customer service vision and expectations. Create atmosphere of impeccable customer service among staff Train and maintain department procedures, skills, and operations Oversight of merchandising, resets, inventory, backroom systems Fulfillment of Safety Program and cultivating a strong Safety Culture Handle all personnel development and administration for the department Know and communicate Good Earth’s product and ingredients standards
Qualifications
Ideal candidate would possess:
Basic computer skills to place orders, utilize database, and create forms Minimum 2 years experience as a buyer in the natural foods industry, and minimum 1 year of supervisory or manager experience Ability to be on feet all day and efficiently operate all department equipment and tools Strong natural supplement, body care and herb product knowledge Knowledge of products and trends in the natural food industry Ability to motivate others to work as a positive team Ability to contribute to creating a positive work environment in your conduct and interaction with coworkers and managers
