Working with us offers many opportunities: working with customers, caring for plants and creating a welcoming, warm shopping experience for our customers. We focus on the sale of live plants and horticultural products in a retail setting.
Job Description:
- Enthusiastically greet customers and visitors
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Water and groom houseplants
- Stock, merchandise and clean interior store
- Receive and move goods: ability to lift 35lbs.
- Maintain the exterior nursery: watering, cleaning, signage, bagging bulk items and other duties as assigned
Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly disposition; enjoy working with people
- Love for gardening, houseplants a plus!
- Enthusiastic and ability to take initiative
- Speak, write in Spanish a plus.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or higher desired
- Capable of learning new technology and software applications
- Desire to significantly expand horticultural knowledge and sales
